Wormhole

Documentation

Discreet routing, documented.

Wormhole moves value into Robinhood Chain and lets you name the wallet that receives it. Everything to know before your first crossing.

What Wormhole is

Wormhole is a route aggregator, not a bridge of its own. When you move funds into Robinhood Chain, several settlement networks are asked for a live quote at the same time and you are routed through whichever pays out the most.

You always land on the best available price. Wormhole does not move liquidity itself; it makes the routes compete and hands you the winner.

How it works

  1. Step 01

    Connect your wallet

Wormhole reads your active network and pre-selects a sensible source chain. Nothing moves without your approval.

  2. Step 02

Choose an amount and a destination

Every route is compared and the best is picked automatically. Leave the destination as your own wallet, or name any address on Robinhood Chain and confirm its last four characters.

  3. Step 03

    Receive in seconds

Confirm in your wallet and your funds arrive on Robinhood Chain, usually within a few seconds.

Routing

Every crossing is priced across each available route at the same time, and the best payout is taken automatically. The interface reports how many routes were priced and what the winning quote was worth against the worst; the saving is stated as a number rather than asserted as a claim.

For some amounts a route may not be available: very small transfers can fall below a minimum. Those simply do not enter the comparison, and the number of routes actually priced is what the app reports.

Withdrawals

Withdrawals are instant. Because routes are intent-based, funds arrive in seconds; there is no seven-day waiting period like the canonical bridge.

Gas on withdraw. A withdrawal is a transaction on Robinhood Chain, so you need a little ETH there to pay for it. If your balance is thin, top up first; the app checks before you confirm.

Fees

Wormhole adds no platform fee. You pay only the winning route's own fee plus network gas, both shown before you sign. Because the cheapest option is always taken, crossing through Wormhole costs the same as or less than going to that route directly.

Security & trust

  • Funds move through audited, widely used third-party settlement protocols.
  • Non-custodial: Wormhole never holds or touches your funds at any point.
  • Every transaction requires your explicit wallet confirmation.
  • No account, no email, no profile. Close the tab and nothing is left behind on our side.

Common questions

Is this an official Robinhood product?
No. Wormhole is an independent project and is not affiliated with Robinhood Markets, Inc. Funds are routed through third-party networks that list Robinhood Chain as a supported chain.
Can the funds land in a different wallet?
Yes; that is the point. Set the destination to any address on Robinhood Chain and the funds land there instead of in the wallet you paid from. Both chains are still public ledgers: this is separation, not concealment.
How long does it take?
Seconds. Most transfers settle within a few seconds of your wallet confirmation.
What happens if a route fails?
Your funds are refunded to your wallet on the origin chain. You do not lose them.
Where is my history kept?
In your own browser, against the wallet that paid. Nothing is sent to a server.
